A Lovecraftian apocalypse set in the modern era. If you love stories dripping with nihilism, buckets of gore, and mind-warping monstrosities, I cannot recommend this series enough.

A series of four stories from great mythos writers centered on the idea of imprisonment. Not every story was a hit for me, but those that were (specifically The Prisoner From Beyond by Mathew Davenport) left quite the impression.
